I am a counsellor, writer, actress and mother of two. Like many of the people I work with, I have experienced profound change, loss, illness and reinvention. My work is informed not only by professional training and experience but by a deep understanding of what it means to rebuild a life after it has been turned upside down.
I believe that what breaks is not the end. We repair. We learn. We grieve. We begin again. Again and again. Some of the greatest growth in my own life has come through navigating loss, uncertainty and unexpected change, and discovering that even in our most difficult seasons there remains the possibility of meaning, connection, joy and renewal.Alongside my counselling work, I am a writer and actress. Creativity, storytelling and curiosity sit at the heart of how I understand people. I am endlessly interested in what helps us heal, what helps us grow, and how we find our way back to ourselves when life takes us somewhere we never expected to go.My approach is warm, compassionate, practical and honest. I do not believe people are broken. I believe most of us already carry the wisdom we need; sometimes we simply need support, perspective and a safe place to hear ourselves again.
